Guilin to Shenzhen
Sep 19, 2011 01:30
guest36262 My family of nine will be visiting Guilin (Yangshuo & Dazhai) in early Jan. Any advice how the weather will be like? Should be bundle up really tight (as in thermal wear and layering?) :)

Also, we are planning to take the overnight train from Guilin to Shenzhen. Would your recommend the hard or soft sleeper. The whole group consists of the parents and 7 kids (7-24 yrs). Is the hard sleeper safe?

And finally, is there any way or person that can help us book the train tickets as we heard that by the time we reach Guilin and try to book the tickets, it might be all sold out...and we can't have that!

I would appreciate any advice!

Thanks!

GUESTBL2022 I cannot get used to coldness, so I recomemend you bring some thick clothes. Shenzhen will be warmer.
Softsleeper is of course more comfortable and safe. But I see you are all very young, the hard sleeper won't be a problem for you. You make the decision.
Contact them to see if they can buy the ticket for you: http://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/
