| Indian onions have 3 types that being imported from Malaysia. Maybe there are many types more in India. The white yellowish onion is good for making rings and put when the cooking is almost finished. The red skin onion is sweeter but esaily gets damaged, usually is cooked to mix with other ingredients or spices. Anyway for ordinary person like me, just any onion will do. Wan |
