I spent the Lantern Festival alone this year. The fireworks were really annoying. I had to close all the windows but still could hear the noise. Thanks to the fireworks, the air quality was worse again.

I went out with my friend to eat hot pot that night. It was boring after dinner, so we tried to go on foot to the lantern fair, but failed. I saw many couples with kids setting off Kongming Lanterns on the way.

Do you like gala or shows for Chinese New Year festivals? This year I give it up, and watched a TV play instead. It is my first time not to watch the gala until end.

Actually, the CCTV Spring Festival Gala Show was broadcasted repeatedly during the Spring Festival Holidays. But I never watch it from beginning to the end.

I have to say, my parents love to watch it. Thus, I watch it together with them.
