| Huizhou Heipaijiao Coastline（黑排角） Start at：Kengkou（坑口） End at：Dutou（渡头） Journey Time: 5-6 hours “Hei Pai Jao” coastline, located in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, is about 14 to 15 kilometers long. It is named “Hei Pai Jiao” because the reefs there are black. During the trip, you need to pass through some mountain slopes. It is said that hei pai jiao is as beautiful as dong xi chong.  |

| Danan Mountain in the East of Huizhou （惠东大南山） Danan Mountain is located at the border of Zengguang County and Haifeng County, in the East of Huizhou. The journey starting from the big banyan in Nanshan Village and ending at Dawang Temple, is about 13km long and takes 6-8 hours. During the trip, you can view plenty of connected mountains and alpine meadows. The best season to cross this hiking route is autumn when the mountain turns golden.  |

| Qi’niang Mountain（七娘山） located in Nan’ao Town, Shenzhen, is the main peak of South Island in Dapeng Peninsula. It rises 869 meters above sea level, and is the second highest peak of the city. The massif is in picturesque disorder with various strikingly outstanding peaks, exotic stones and grottoes. Dense forest and abundant wild animal resources add radiance and beauty to each other. Besides its verdant hills, Qi’niang Mountain is also famous for its various legends and stories. One says that Qi’niang Mountain is Dapeng Mountain. Seven fairies were transformed into seven peaks by the command of Heaven, because they were unwilling to leave the beautiful mountain. Another says that Qi’niang Mountain is Chu’niang Mountain. Since there were tuber crops, cassavas, taros, yam and everything, everyone gathering crops in the mountain would come back fully loaded. The municipal government has decided to make Qi’niang Mountain a country park for conservation-oriented development, and fully strengthen its active role in urban ecological environment. | Judiaosha is located by the glamorous Judiao Bay. Enclosed by mountains on 3 sides and facing the sea, it is the coastal holy resort in the eastern part of Shenzhen. Seen from the map, the entire beach is like a new moon embedded on the blue ocean under the blue sky. With the finest sand among all the beaches, Judiaosha is one of the most beautiful beaches of Shenzhen. The sand grain here is fine and pure and the coastline is stretching endlessly long; the locals name it the “silver beach”. Along the seaside, trees are lined up and the soft breezes are intoxicating. Tall trees stretch far into the sea and with the shade they provide, here is the best camping site and an ideal place for holidays on the coast. | Ma Tou Shi （马头石）, located in Shijiao Town, Qing Yuan City, Guangdong Province, is the largest Danxia landform scenic area in the Pearl River Delta, covering a total area of 6.51 square kilometers. This landscape reveled in Jurassic and Cretaceous period features scarlet cliffs, lonely peaks, rare stones, huge rock caves and deep canyons. Besides the sightseeing tour, you can also try the Via Ferrata (Ironroad), the only one in Guangdong Province. |

| Maluan Mountain （马峦山） is one of Shenzhen’s best kept secrets. However, it is extremely popular among avid hikers because it's easy, safe, beautiful and varied with clear streams, lush woods, Chinese plum blossoms and one of the area's largest waterfalls. Maluan Mountain is 300-590 meters above sea level. In the hot summer, its temperature is lower than the city by 3 degrees Celsius. Without the industrial pollution and noises from the city, Maluan Mountain has kept its pure, refreshing environment. It’s also worth going every December and January when the orange trees harvest and all you can see are the fruits hanging from the trees. You can always pick some fruits, too! At Maluan Mountain, you can have a good view of the ocean, the lake and the waterfall. It’s also the home of many different plants and animals, some of which are endangered species. It's a good place for a relaxing family outing and a wonderful getaway from the city. | Yantian Waterfront Boardwalk (盐田海滨栈道) Yantian Waterfront Plank road is a 19.5 km coastal greenway in Yantian District, Shenzhen - the longest waterfront plank road in the world. It begins from Zhongying Street Guta Park in the west, and runs along the golden coastline, linking Shatoujiao, Yantian Port and Dameisha in series, and Xiaomeisha Park in the east. Strolling along the boardwalk to the mountains, you can view many villas on the mountainside, standing here swaying in the sea breeze, looking at the scenery, especially for those who like to enjoy rest time. There are three main passages: the urban life shoreline includes the “Zhongying Street” coastline plank road and the seascape environment; the industrial port area shoreline, and natural ecological shoreline along the Damiesha and Xiameisha area. | Paiya Mountain 排牙山 Paiya Mountain, the sixth highest peak in Shenzhen with height of 707 meters, is located in Dapeng Town, Longgang District, Shenzhen. The rolling mountain range looks like different rows of uneven teeth, hence the name of the mountain. Citizens often come here for hiking and appreciating the natural landscape. It takes a total of six hours to trek the whole mountain. Nicknamed “Shenzhen’s Little Huashan Mountain,” the ruggedness of Paiya Mountain is second to none in the city. It is also the mountain with the most beautiful scenery in Shenzhen. Paiya Mountain faces Qiniang Mountain and Bijia Mountain from afar. Daya Bay Nuclear Power Plant, China’s first nuclear power plant, stands right at its foot. How to get there: take bus No. 360 or 364 to Dapeng Town, then take taxi or motorcycle taxi to Dakeng Reservoir.  |
