Trees Painted for Moon Festival

We arrived in Zhengzhou just in time for the Moon Festival. All of the trees were painted white with a red band at the top of the white. No one could explain the red paint. Celebrations included moon cakes and very loud firecrackers.

Trees were painted white with a red band at the top of the white. The white material protects tree from coldness and insect infestation. The red band is painted to make a unified height on all trees, which will certainly make the painting beautiful.
