I would LOVE to visit {Zhangjiajie,http://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/hunan/zhangjiajie/}. I will be in {Shanghai,http://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/shanghai.htm} for a few days. Is there a flight I can take, and if so, where can I get more information about that (cost, flight time, etc)? Also, do I need to do a tour if I want to see Tianmen Mountain, or can I go visit on my own? THANK YOU!

Zhangjiajie Scenic Area is quite big, i think you could stay ther for two days, also the ticket there will be valid for two days. For the rest of the time, I think you could tour the places around Zhangjiajie, like the Phoenix Town.

GUEST16226	Hi, I will be arriving at Changde airport around 4pm plus. How do i get to ZhangJiaJie from Changde airport? I know that it takes about 2 hrs to travel by bus, but where to take the bus? what bus and how frequent is the bus? Thank you.

Go to North Bus Station(汽车北站) to take bus. It leaves at 9:00, 10:00, 14:30 and 15:30. The ticket price is around CNY59.

There is no direct train or flight from Huangshan to Zhangjiajie. So you might take train or flight to Shanghai. Then you can fly or take train from SHanghai to Zhangjiajie. A hard sleeping berth costs CNY 343.5 while a soft berth, CNY527.5. The flight on Feb. 11 is more than CNY1000. So the train is your best choice.
