| If you are sick, you can call 120 to ask for an ambulance(救护车Jiu4 Hu4 Che1) in China. Hospital is called 医院(Yi 1 Yuan 4) in Chinese. When you are in a hospital, you must register(挂号Gua 4 Hao 4) first. The reception will ask you which office you want to choose, and you should say: 内科(Nei 4 Ke 1) = internal medicine 外科(Wai 4 Ke 1) = surgery 牙科(Ya 2 Ke 1) = dentistry 儿科(Er 2 Ke 1) = paediatrics 妇科(Fu 4 Ke 1) = maternity etc. etc. Or you can also describe your illness to the reception and she will help you to choose the right office and doctor. |

| Many Chinese doctors can't say English fluently to satisfy foreigners. So if you can't speak fluent Chinese, ask a Chinese friend to go with you. |
