Dodger,

He, he, slap me! I'm an American first. I don't renegade to who I'm as I have read in this forum that some have only ugly things to say about their own country.
The same people are the same that don't have anything good to say about America.

So, I don't worry about them.

However, I'm happy to explain my self to you and the many majorities that perhaps have (that is) misunderstood me here.
You left out the third line of my statement, where I explain in a humble way the "why" of the two first lines.
And it reads,

Line One- ...I think on my opinion that it do not really matters who invented, but who tuck it to the gold medal podium.

Line Two- ...Like most everything in the western world, if it does not go thru America on the way to the top; perhaps it is not the top.

Line Three- ... (Why? Very simple, America, unlike any other country in the world has been the place where the rest of the world meets and from there it goes on.)

I don't intent harm to any of the people that love's and like's America.

At the same time with a nickel of arrogance I say to the haters, so be it.

Dodger,
I hope this can put to rest any misunderstanding.

Over all we the people of America are highly impress by the Chinese and Australians.

About old Europe, is a flip.

JC, I did in fact selectively quote you on purpose.
I was just winding you up Mate.
Just on an OT topic for a moment, I wouldn’t mind getting an opinion on how the election is shaping up from a voters perspective. All the newspapers appear to have a liberal view point.
Cheers, Dodger.

So glad you were just winding the clock! He, he,

About the election, you know I think of my self as a Republican Conservative. Therefore, my opinion can be not as reliable as the left wing media.

No much help from me my friend; but I can tell that against all odds McCain & Palin have made inroads and severely question the audacity of hope with the Obama-Nation facts.

Take care.

<<Based on my experience, I think that if Chinese restaurants overseas insisted on the original main land cooking, Chinese Cuisine will be a business failure.>>

JC, this time I totally don't agree with you. Even if Westerners have different tastes on dishes, It's not boast that Westerners just cannot resist the temptations of REAL CHINESE CUISINE in Mainland China. In comparison, Overseas Chinese cusine is garbage. You could water for dishes in China town but it's nothing after you taste mainland dishes. As Dodger say, It has soul.

GUEST19681, are you from South Korea? I apologize for offensing you. As for the Sun Yet-sen incident, it was a piece of fake news. However, I really want to know what you think of acupuncture? Is it invented by South Korean people?

Hi Dodger - I believe you are correct about the main stream media. They are all squarely for Obama. People I work with and myself question all of the issues and try to find some truth in between all the lies and mud slinging. I think this has to be the nastiest, most mean spirited election I have even seen or read about.

To me (and remember, politics is very subjective), Obama is a very well educated articulate and likable guy. But his ultra-liberal ideas are pure socialism and even communistic in ways. "Redistribution of wealth", for example, doesn't work. It kills incentive and rewards to do nothings by stealing from the industrious. When I hear "Redistribution of wealth" I think it's lawyer-speak for Marx-Lennin ideologies that haven't worked in the old USSR or in China.

"Socialized Medicine" has been a total failure everywhere it has been tried. Hillary's plan back during the Clinton years was scrapped because it was too expensive and unworkable. McCain is the only one even discussion cutting and controlling spending. Obama promises things he cannot deliver. Plus he just plain lies when he says he won't raise taxes for the middle class. The trillions of dollars of give-aways he is promising will have to be paid somehow. And more deficit spending is definitely not the answer.

Obama's big tax increase for the over $250,000 earners is not going to amount to much, since it raises the tax bracket from 36% to 39% (big deal!). The rich can always afford better lawyers to find the loopholes and hide their money. The burden will obviously fall right back on the middle class. But so many people believe Obama that it scares me. Maybe people here on average are as selfish and stupid as Barontwangle would have us believe.

Obama's taxing businesses more will only cause businesses to go out of business, or send more work off-shore for cheaper wages. Either way, unemployment will rise and the American people will take it in the shorts!

Word has it that McCain is making progress in the polls against Obama, but you'd never know it. CNN and MSNBC are obviously totally biased. Fox seems a bit more objective.

The most obnoxious part of the whole election are those complete morons who say if you don't vote for Obama you are racist! Well. I won't vote for him based on the issues and his positions, so I guess I'm racist too! I always thought Martin Luther King said that his dream was "when a man would be judged by the strength of his character and not the color of his skin". MLK is probably turning over in his grave!

I read somewhere that in a Democracy, people don't always get what they want or need, but the do get what they deserve! Should continue to be interesting.
