hello,anyone can answer me pls? coz i need to go to hongkong and back again here in shanghai, i was confused if can i used china mobile sim ? while i'm in hongkong? thanks..god bless

Sorry, I thought you're local or familiar with the shortform. SZ usually for Shenzhen and GZ for Guangzhou.

thanks for your reply, ahhhh ok thanks again for the info..i just bougth my sim near at shenzhen train station..then came here in shanghai 3 months ago..and by nxt month i'll be back to hongkong for 1 week..then come back again in shanghai.

I read that you bought yoru sim card near the Shenzhen Railway Station and then kept using it when you were in Shanghai. You will be charged a lot because you roamed in Shanghai.

My suggestion: when you arrived in a city, buy a sim card. When you leave, ask the your telecom operator to cancel it. It's inconvenient but saves you some money.

China Mobile sim-cards can be used in HK. But remember that you have to pay extra money for roaming service. I suggest you buy prepaid sim card when you are in HK. Usually, it contains a certain amount of credits which allows you to use.
