Some Taiwan girls even request to accept plastic surgery in order to have the same eyes like Zhen Huan. Recently, the news reports have said that Zhen Huan Zhuan will be shown in the US. According to the news reports, the 76 episodes long TV series will be shortened to six episodes and then shown to the US audience. The title Zhen Huan Zhuan will be translated into Empresses in the Place. It’s good that the US audience are interested in Chinese TV series. But some Chinese audience are worried that some classic dialogues won’t be translated properly. Take Yi Zhang Hong (一丈红) for example. It is a kind of punishment used to punish the concubines who make serious mistakes. The executor hit the concubine’s thighs with a narrow plank until her skin and flesh were torn. Some of them can’t endure the pain and die. From a distant view, you just see a pool of red blood. That’s why it’s called Yi Zhang Hong. I am really eager to watch Empresses in the Palace.

GUESTGAVIN	I am wondering how they translate their name and "position" in the palace into English, as well as the Zhen Huan Style language.
