Hi!

Its our first time in China, in october.
Im making our own itinerary but I have a night left so, I odnt know of Beijing or Shanghai or Hong Kong.

At the moment is

Beijing 1 to 5/oct 4 nights 3 days
Xi'an 5 to 7/oct 2 nights 1 day
Shanghai 7 to 11/oct 4 nights 3 day
Guangzhou 11 to 16/Oct 5 nights 4 days
Hong Kong 16 to 18/oct 2 nights 1 day

But I have one night left, the flight is 19/oct from HK. So I dont know where to put it.

Any suggestions??

Thank you!

GUESTY6768 Why not stay in Shenzhen for a day? You can go to Hk immediately from Shenzhen.

One day in HK? Not long enough! Spend it in Hong Kong!

Definitely try to do more nights in Hong Kong, it has best of all.

Islands, beaches, mountains, temples, modern & old... amazing city.

But beware, your October dates for Guangzhou and HongKong are in the middle of world's busiest trade shows season (hotels full & overpriced)... unless you're already planning to visit the trade shows in GZ and HK?

Be aware, in 2nd half of October, Guangzhou hotel prices will be 3x (literally THREE times) higher than usual... In Hong Kong it's around 2x.

There are several big trade shows in both HK & GZ in 2nd half of Oct.

One day less in Shanghai, forget about Guangzhou unless you have something you particularly want to do there. Chengdu is good because of the Panda Zoo. But as Sasha says watch out for the holiday period.

No need to worry about the moon festival... China is a very safe city if you stay to the main city centres, are sensible, and don't stay out too late.
