Expats in Baotou!

I am Gökhan, a metallurgical consultant for Baotou Steel.

I will be flying to Baotou in Jan, 2016. According to my contract I have to spend about eight months a year in Baotou.

Any teachers or engineers in this town? I have already read about the Pizza Bar :) Is it still open? Is there any nightlife or any spot that expats can hang out?

Hello,

I'm Núria, an English teacher in Baotou.

I've been here for a couple of months and I'll be staying until autumn. Since I came I haven't crossed paths with other foreigners (excluding the two working in my school).
Any luck with that?

I've been to the pizza bar a couple of times, pizza is really good but I didn't find other expats there (they might go there during the weekends, when I work, I don't know)

If you want to meet for coffee or something let me know.

No luck with meeting foreigners except the ones work in Baogang.

Turns out my flat is a few hundred meters away from the Pizza bar and I quite like that place.

I could definitely go for a coffee.
