The easy way is to take flight from Baiyun Airport to Hong Kong airport. But it is expensive. You can take airport express bus line 2A and get off at Garden Hotel (Hua Yuan Jiu Dian). There are direct bus to HKIA.

The cheapest way is: take subway line 3 at Jichangnan station to Jiahewanggang and then change subway line 2 to Guangzhou Railway Station. There you can take train to Shenzhen Railway Station. THen walk to Luohu Port to pass the border to get to HK.

I won't suggest you take a taxi from Guangzhou Airport to Shenzhen. You can take subway line 3 to Guangzhou East Railway Station. There is a direct train from Guangzhou to Kowloon, HK.

If you miss the train, you can take high speed train from there to Shenzhen Railway Station. It takes about 40 minutes. Then you can cross the Luohu Border to take East Rail to the downtown area in HK.
