business, business, business ... - Shanghai | July 11, 2005 - July 14, 2005
you have a big choice of hotels but most cheap ones are really ugly (there were really mushrooms growing out of the walls). shanghai in general is very big fascinating real chinese city! you can have everything there and experience a lot! have fun!!! - Xiamen | July 6, 2005 - July 9, 2005
nice city center - but just good for shopping and going along the streets. better take the fairy to the island gulangyu (10min): no cars, just old houses, beautiful nature, very nice and helpful people, very good seafood restaurants and famous for seashell-jewellery! you can live there in very comfortable houses very cheap!! - Hong Kong | June 29, 2005 - July 5, 2005
...and many times during my stay in shenzhen. I really like hongkong, it's very busy, you can do whatever you want, freaky nightlife, nice beaches, markets, interesting people. I normally stay at manhinglung hotel in mirador mansions (nathan road) in tsim sha tsui - very cheap and the manager steve chan is a well english-speaking chinese that helps you a lot with everything you need.
