Suzhou | May 4, 2009 - June 21, 2009
Was teaching at Suzhou University on behalf of an Australian College/University. Suzhou was a great place and is a beautiful vibrant city with lovely canals flowing through it. Many good bars and restaurants to go to and many good sightseeing places also. Weather was warm and humid for most of my stay.- Hainan | February 27, 2009 - May 3, 2009
Was teaching in Huainan (Anhui Province) on behalf of an Australian College/University. When I first went there it was very cold and snowing, pollution was high too being a coal mining centre. Not too many westerners in this part of China so being stared at was a daily occurrence! Weather warmed up considerably over mid to late march so life was a little better after that.
