4 days in Dali. VEry pleasant old city. Sixties atmosphere. Bike hire, hanging out in the villages around the lake. Zhoucheng (bus or bike) is nice village, walk uphill to the cementary, enjoy the view and daydream

arriving in china, 3 days Shanghai to get a first feel of china. WOW.
realising chinese holidays were to begin, and travelling then isn't the best idea. Decision on trip. Yunan, and 'backdoor' to chengdu. Turned out to be one of the better travel decisions we made.
