Lijiang
August 14, 2005 - August 18, 2005

As soon as I arrived, I felt to be in this kind of town that you can see in traditional chinese films. Many tourists there, many white people, but it is really worth to go. The town is absolutly wonderful, the scenery around is gorgeous, the climate very mild in the summer. Old people there like to sing and dance, and that's what they do all day long!

Dali
August 11, 2005 - August 14, 2005

Very beautiful town. It is easy to ride a bike in the countryside, and specially to go to the lake. Life is sweet, quiet and slow.

Kunming
August 6, 2005 - August 19, 2005

What to say about Kunming? The weather is nice during the summer: 25°C is very welcome after having sweat all day long in the rest of South China. Yunnan is so different from the other places. Beautiful Stone forest, but the entrance fee is very expensive.

Yangshuo
August 1, 2005 - August 6, 2005

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful !!!
The scenery there is magic!

Guilin
July 28, 2005 - August 1, 2005

I really like this place. It is a wonderful town, and life there seems so sweet. people go to swim in the river after work. Not so many cars. Very pretty town, very romantic. A wonderful scenery. I like life there.

Macau
July 26, 2005 - July 26, 2005

Cute, cute, cute!!! Such a charming place, such a portuguese air, such a quiet style of life!

Hong Kong
July 20, 2005 - July 28, 2005

I really disliked that place when I got there. I was feeling so...overwhelmed!!! It is a special place anyway, and after a few days I even found a certain charm to H-K. I like the sea, and the small islands where you can escape from the chaos!

Guangzhou
July 17, 2005 - July 20, 2005

I like this place; it's so surprising! So crowdy, so lively. Not very beautiful, but it has its own charms!

Sanya
February 4, 2006 - February 20, 2006

what a wonderful thing to be in summer when it's freezing everywhere else. Hainan is quite a new touristic place and you have to get used to some rough ways of living...

Beijing
October 20, 2003 - November 5, 2003

Beijing is so colourful in autumn: red and yellow everywhere. Walking around the lakes, riding a bicycle through the narrow streets of the hutongs, visiting so many magical places...
