Xishuangbanna is such a big and diverse minority groups. my travel is focused on the main trip, "the ancient Tea & horse route". some of the place travelled were major producers of pu'er tea leaves, villages like yiwu, simao, pu'er and in it sprinkle the beautiful "rice terraces of Yianyang.

My circum navigation of Yunnan starts at Lijiang, then Bus to DALI, Fly from Dali to Xishuangbanna, traverse across to Guangxi, then to Guizhou. Bus utilising local taxis, local busses, trains. Some great and anceint cities still existed but modernisation will soon have its effects on these city.

bus to Baisha, overnight Baisha. trek to wenhai. overnight Wenhai. Travel back to Lijiang overnight. Bus to Tiger leaping gorge. Trek from 14km to woody's gueat house. 2 nights in TLG. back to Lijiang. Bus to Dali...to be continue
