bring or expect to have plenty of storage for return of souveniers(jinianpin).
guides are best for first timers.
food excellant and more than you can eat, believe it.
do not need a lot of extras as most widely used products available in china.
voltage converters usefull and work well.
some hotels let you borrow theirs.
clothes are very well launderd and low cost.
it is nice to be in best clothes weather is stable now.
film and batteries easy to find.
meds are evrywhre.
no shortage of stores in china.
crowds polite and calm.guides help to quicken wait times if any.
i went high season and had no delays.
