Travelled 5.5 hrs by Coach from Beijing to Chengde. Visited the famous Summer Resort (Pi Shu Shan Chuang), the largest garden of the imperial family. In my opinion, it is more beautiful than the Summer Palace in Beijing. Also visited the spectacular Potala Palace.

Travelled 2.5 hours by Coach from Beijing to Tianjin. Visited Cultural Street & Food Street. Bought some Chinese history books and Titbits. Nothing much else here.

Joined a 8-day Beijing Tour Package with my wife, mother, sister-in-law & brother-in-law. Visited Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, Beijing Underground City, Jingshan Park, Ming Tombs, Waxworks Museum, Beihai Park, Hutongs, Lugoubridge, Bell Temple, Yonghe Temple, Yuan Ming Yuan, Kong Wang Fu (He Sheng's Residence) & Zoo.
