Today we went to the Great Wall

we went to the Great Wall, on Monday, July 8, 2003. It was about a 2 hour drive outside of Beijing. A group pictures were taken, and then we were left on our own to climb however much of the Wall as we wished. We started the trek and took a lot of pictures, which were cherished by me until now. Fortunately, my husband and I put our own comfortable shoes our guide told us beforehand. It is quite important to ensure us having a long trek in the Great Wall. Thus, we took many many beautiful pictures there. However, it was crowded on the Great Wall at that day. We climbed the Badaling Great Wall. Our guide told us Mutianyu Great Wall is a good alterative to avoid the crowds in high season. We plan to trek in Mutianyu for my second trip to China.
