My adult son and I just returned from a 15-tour in China. It was an extremely enjoyable trip beginning in Shanghai and ending in Beijing including a 6-day cruise from Wuhan to Chongqing on the Regal China Cruise ship - Princess Elaine. If there was one highlight over another it would be this cruise up the Yangtze...very well done in every way. The crew was very courteous, well-informed, and talented. The food was excellent and the on-board programs very informative and entertaining. Of course, we also immensely enjoyed the Terra Cotta Warriors of Xian, the Tang Dynasty dinner show, Shanghai's Acrobatic Show, Beijing proper, and visiting the Great Wall at Badaling. Transportation within China went very smoothly, our lodging was very adequate, and our national guide and local guides very well informed and helpful. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone.
