Goddess of Pearl River Delta

This magnificent statue of imposing dimensions, is erected on top of Taipa Hill. It is made of brilliant jade. The face is calm as that of a mother should be. It is said that this goddess came many times to the rescue of sailors in olden days. There is a free bus ride to the top of the hill from the main road linking Taipa with Coloane, in Macau.
