Min Jiang Dammed 
The largest dam on the Min Jiang just upstream of Dujiangyan has transformed the river, creating this massive lake requiring a bridge nearly 2kms long.
It was not open at the time of visit

At least the waters in this newly-formed lake appear somewhat clean. I wonder if anybody thought about raising fish in these huge, man-made reservoirs? |
