Rickshawing around

When using a rickshaw in Beijing we were always asked if it was for me (the westerner). Our start price was based on the answer. After some bargaining it was always cheap (most rides were 5-6 RMB). One driver told us the price is actually 5RMB for chinese and 10RMB for westerners. Generally they ask 20/30RMB and as high as 50RMB when near expensive tourist packed shopping streets or railway stations.
