Thanks for the info - good to hear I didnt miss too much, having missed it gave me a bad feeling in the past! One of the best markets is the Panjiajuan market in Beijing, but every city has one and Im always on the hunt for those places;-) |

Yeah, it is - it's not actually a street but a covered market, and I remember almost missing it myself for that reason. a short walk from the Dufu cottage and just across the street from a university side gate (can't remember the name of the uni - something with 'dian' for electricity in it). Looks like a series of stores, turns out it's a warren of indoor alleys. Honestly? Unimpressive. Tianjin's is far better. And equally frustrating to find if you make a wrong turn. |

Is this THE street with an antique market and full of antique shops in Chengdu I was looking for? I ran my ass off for that street, but crappy LP must have been wrong - or it must have been moved to somewhere else;-( Even the police could not tell me more..... |
