crossing the suspension
we chicken out and decided to drive further and take the suspension bridge. ha ha.. summer season's water level will be low. so not that exciting. october is best. current are strong and high, and the sound of it will stimluate your adrenalin

there are quite a number of suspension bridges but only at few strategic locations. But the Nu Jiang (Salween River) runs from eastern Tibet into Yunnan province and then into Myanmar. it s a very long river. clusters of villages are dotted all the way along the river and the suspension bridges are very far away. you can read more of the river at this guide; http://www.travelchinaguide.com/intro/geography/
