Who will be the winner of the games?<< Johnny, I participate in tennis discussion at another site and these three matchups between Federer and Sampras are a hot topic now. There is general agreement though about several things. Firstly, because these are exhibition matches, the players don't take them too seriously and therefore aren't giving it 100% usually. Their first priority is to entertain the crowds. After all they are each being paid large sums of money to play. Secondly, there is a 10 year age difference between Roger and Pete. You can't hide something like this. No matter how hard Pete will try, his body won't be able to respond the way it used to 10 years ago. Pete's biggest weapon continues to be his serve. The best he can hope for is to serve his way to a tie-break and then pray that he can come through winning the set. Many of us at the other site are predicting that Federer will actually let Sampras win the second match to give him some sense of pride with is current level of play. We also predict that Federer will win the third match. So in the end it will either be Federer 2 Sampras 1 or Federer 3 Sampras 0. [/quote]
