Yes that is true. When someone wins so many slams in such a short period of time we begin to expect too much of them. But his play compared to the average player on tour is still phenomenal.
He still has a few more years to try to break Sampras' record of 14 slams.
And let's not forget Sampras' 'dry years' just before her retired and his winning another slam in his 30's.
