Hot dry noodles is actually a very simple dish and is not that complicated to make as you mentioned. Basically it's made out of noodles that was hand made and dipped in oil. The appearance should be white to a light yellowish colour. Then the noodles are cooked in boiling water, and served in a bowl. From there, you add the main sauces: Sesame sauce, Soy Sauce, and a little bit of chili oil. Those are the main ingredients that make the basic hot dry noodles taste. Other ingredients that is optional includes black pepper, Sesame OIL, (not sauce) green onion, garlic, and pickled radish.
