this has nothing to do with first generation; tradition; or closed traditions. if you pay attention, you will notice that there are chinese women who have been in europe for 1 week, and already dating a white man. compare that with a 3rd generation chinese american guy who has been  who probably has never dated a white woman.  theres a chinese man raised in the usa, frequently complaining about being unwanted by white women in the usa. his name is winston wu and has his own website and forum. you will find many chinese american men that go back to china to look for a wife because he cant find one in america. how many chinese american women do you know who return to china for a husband? throughout the west, you will find very few couples that involve chinese man and white woman, regardless of short, long dating, or marriage. just walk around the street of any western city and you will see countless numbers of white men / chinese women, but almost no chinese men / white women couples. this has less to do with chinese men finding white women attractive, but more to do with white women finding chinese men attractive.  there are many statements online discussing second generation asian males having trouble finding a white woman, even though the asian male is highly motivated to date white women. the white women simply would not respond to the asian man. most white women want an aggressive man. asian men are gentle and frequently perceived as feminine. on the other hand, white women respond more to black men because they are perceived to be more aggressive and masculine.[/quote]
