In terms of latinas, I am latina and I don't find them to be more emotionally or physically feminine than american women. But this has more to do with cultural pressure on presentation/looks than it does with femininity. American women are just as feminine, and I don't see why they wouldn't be nurturing/motherly just like any other woman.

But in any case, I can guarantee you that even though people of some cultures (asian women for example) may initially be shy/submissive, eventually once you marry and know them well they will be anything but. So take care not to make such bigoted assumptions because you really cannot make any assumptions about anyone's real personality by just watching their initial behavior. Westernern women tend to be more direct and forceful yes, not because of the "feminist movement", but rather because all westerners tend to be more direct and forceful.  This says nothing about their capacity for nurturing and love, but is rather just the way we've been raised and taught to behave. Personally, I see nothing wrong with western behavior in itself - there is nothing wrong with being direct, sociable - outward oriented - unless it is taken to an extreme.[/quote]
