Yes he had a minor illness that affected his play during the Australian.

Yes Mono is considered to be a serious type of illness. At times it can last for many months, depending on the individual and can be very debilitating.

It can sap much of the energy from an individual so that they feel very weak and lethargic.

I also hope Roger makes a full recovery and starts to win some slams again soon.

The next Grand Slam will occur in May in France and then in June in England.

It's very strange how the four slams are scheduled in a calendar year.

There is a long wait between the U.S. Open and the Australian Open and similarly between the Australian Open and the French Open.

But there is less than one month between the French Open and Wimbledon!
