The action plan that I posted was actually given to me by a Woman. I followed the plan to the letter. It worked.
The food is not the “show” it’s just a part of the “show”.

A clean wash basin with a freshly ironed hand towel will impress her just as much as anything you concoct in the kitchen.
My reference to getting rid of any pet you might have is also taken from a real life situation.
A friend of mine did the “come round for dinner routine ”everything was carefully planed right down to the log fire with a blanket that just happened to be handy.
After moving to the fire to snuggle up and just when he thought things appeared to be on target his dog escaped from the spare bedroom and wanted to join in with the action, as dogs do….
I’ll leave the rest to your imagination.
Certainly check to find out if she has any dislikes or allergies.
I would still suggest that you go to a decent restaurant and explain your plan. I’m sure the Chief will understand. Mine did. Leave the food to an expert.
Your goal surly is not just to impress in the dinning room?
