Some youngsters even believed in fatality.  However, stil there are some others who argued that we still lived in a world of love. Just the tagline of the movie " Love Actually" reads:  when the plane hit the twin towers, none of phonecalls from people on board were messages of hatred or revenge, they were all messages of love. If you look for it, you will find that love is actually all around."

Anyhow, the catastrophe did change the US norms indeed. 9.11 has great military and political significance. In post-9.11, in military, US took a pre-emptive attack policy. The homeland security was put on the US top agenda. On this special day, let us (all peace-lovers) pray for the martyrs dying in that tragedy.[/quote]
