Global Research and Consulting GfK Roper of the United States said on Friday in Hanoi that good health is the top concern of women worldwide.The director made the statement after a plenary session of the three-day Global Summit of Women held in Vietnam’s capital.

90% women surveyed choose Healtth as their top concern, followed by home ownership, a happy marriage and financial security. The minor concerns are children, an interesting job and control over one’s life.

The survey suggests an increasing emphasis on financial security both in short term and long term. It also reveals that 60% women worldwide prefer more money to free time. Early this decade, Asia women did not have a strong preference for money. Now, Asian women put more emphasis on money than on time.

In terms of personal values, women in developing Asia attaches more importance than the worldwide average women on values sucha as health, status, and power.
