Otherwise I guess going from Haikou to Guangzhou by train, then Guangzhou to Shenzhen, cross the bridge to Hong Kong, take ferry to Macao and then return to Hainan by plane from Macao can be comfortably done in a week and 1/2 spending two days each place not counting Haikou.
