Why do Chinese women have to abide these rules? Their mothers tell them that these rules have been observed for thousands of years. They exist for some reason. If they don’t abide by the rules, they will suffer when they become old. Their mothers always tell them that they would spend their confinement again if they had a chance. Hereby, they wouldn’t suffer from some illnesses.

I am afraid that William might divorce Kate if she spends her confinement time like traditional Chinese women. Who is willing to stay with a woman who don’t wash hair, teeth and bath for six weeks?
