Hello! I'm not quite sure if this is the right forum to ask but I'd like to present my situation. I have some very unpleasant ( at least to me ) leftovers from scars on my body around the abdominal area that quite frankly have for a long time had an incredibly lowering effect on my self esteem, this is why I am very much considering getting a tattoo much like this http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Bk4pnHUZpHs/TpLOw5m-DuI/AAAAAAAAADc/DV1at8dinQw/s1600/471bd07fdaa7b040f7ab8b2a13f8f35b_xl.jpg Only modified to not be visible with a medium length t - shirt on. I will be moving to China for a year to finish learning the language ( pass HSK 5 ) in a private school in Haikou. My million dollar question is how will a tattoo like this affect me there, in beach or swimming situations would it make most people scared and push them away ? ( since there are many such there ) and more importantly would it harm dating life? Even though it'd be invisible unless swimming or during intimate moments I fear that it'd push people or potential dates away. Or will it be that most people there ( I'm thinking young, twenty to thirty five ) won't really be bothered and fairly open about it, also will other things make up for it? I'm a young 184 cm tall Norwegian male, with a good amount of money for most countries with a reasonable education ( a BA in Law and Modern Languages from the university of Sorbonne and admission to the university of Oxford for Modern Languages that I deferred for a year to go to China ). I thank you very much for your time given in reading my question and wish you a good day!
