I know the feeling, I spent 6 months getting to know what I thought was the love of my life, only to find she never would accept my requests for contact information. Always stating "we wont be able to understand each other", that's funny because I sent her some messages in pinyin and she understood them(maybe with a correction or two, but she understood them). Things started going downhill when she cancelled her trip to visit me with no explanation of why, just a week of staying off-line. So I finally told her either we find a way to communicate without the site or we are done(This is after she agreed to get married). To make a long story short, we were done her choice not mine, it actually is killing me. I then decided to go to another site to see what they had to offer, lo and behold who is on that site? The same lady, with a slightly different profile, but the same photos. Only this new site had options like video chat so that you could actually see the girl you are talking with, and she was OK with that. It seems to me that her(or his, as the case may be) options change by the site. I actually found 3 different sites now that she is on, and have chatted with her on multiple ones at once and she didn't even realize. In conclusion, I have become very skeptical with these dating sites, and wouldn't get your hopes up to high. They seem to be in it for their own revenue and nothing else, because when I broke up with her she didn't seem overly upset. (I guess the only thing she missed was the revenue from milking credits out of me). I am curious to see if she respond to my initial letter sent to her from the new site I have signed up for(but not actually paid anything yet).
