GUESTGUEST -... HI

We will be relocating to Shenzhen from UK - with 4 kids

concerned about medical care - hospital treatment, daily checks - where can this be done.
Provate schools are very expensive and its not affordable to educate all 4 children at private - for the younger kids < 6 years , can you suggest a suitable public school? Does anyone do home schooling there?

What about driving in Shenzhen - buying or leasing a car - can one use a british drivers license?

GUEST67247 I moved to Shenzhen four months ago and am in need of fellowship! The fellowship at SIS sounds wonderful. What time do they meet? In addition, I taught school for six years before moving to Shenzhen. I have my masters in education and would love to help teach students in a home environment. I know that it must be hard to trust people that you do not know and have never met. I have been working on a doctorate, and part of the data comes from my journals. I know how many of you must be feeling - it is a roller coaster ride of feelings and emotions.

I currently live in Meizhou, about 6 hours north of Shenzhen. I am an ex-pat from the U.S.A. teaching English at the University here. (I have a wife -- Brazilian citizen -- and a two year old son). We are interested in relocating to Shenzhen, mainly for the International schools and for dual employment. My son needs to get enrolled in an English speaking school, not only for educational purposes but also for socialization. We also would like to teach English -- either together or seperately. We want to be close to a major city / airport and also basic services (medical, shopping, etc). At our current location, we are isolated and it is difficult for us.
Suggestions and feedback are appreciated. Thank you in advance.
