| GUEST95120 | i truly believe in god. i came to this thread bcuz my social studies teach (i am in 6th grade an go to catholic school christian btw) and mr.g told us about the chinese and japanese. it is their choice if they don't wanna belive. Some of them do though. I have no problem but i no the effects if they don't (of course i would no i have been in a catholic school since 3 yrs old) and i have a frieind Naima and she is agnostic and she came to my school left feb. and she is awesome. |

| GUEST13689 | I'm of Chinese ethnicity born in Burma and grew up in the US since age 5. The reason why not many folks from China would put their thoughts in there here (even taking into account a preference not to agitate, possible censorship, etc..) is that the question of a "god," especially the Judeo-Christian capital G-god is simply NOT a "question." Just like in the US or the West, people do not constantly think about how much ginger to use for a batch of bok-choy stir fry. It's just not a culturally relevant thing that "East" really thinks about- but Korea is a different story of course!!. |
