If you rent a better car like BMW for 2 days, you may need CNY 1500-2000. I suggest you go to Xinnanmen Bus Station (新南门汽车站) to take bus to Leshan and then take bus from Leshan to Mt. Emei.

Schedule (Chengdu-Leshan): the bus leaves every 20 minutes from 07:00-21:30.
Time: around 2 hours.

Leshan to Mt. Emei: take bus at Xiaoba Tourism Bus Station(肖坝旅游车站) to Mt. Emei.

Time: around 40 minutes.

GUEST91183	I used my NZ and Australian drivers license in Chongqing in September 2012. How did I get away with it? Jumped in the car and went for a tour. Lets face it have you seen how they drive over there, we are far better drivers than they are.
