Which is better? Msn or QQ?

I use msn just because it is what I started with and it does what I want, but I admit I am moving over to skype where the sound is much better for conversations

QQ is a chatting tool for Chinese.

If you are in China, QQ is much more popular. But it's too commercialized!!

Guest99194, of course you can't use your msn account on QQ. MSG was made by Microsoft and QQ is made by a Chinese company in Shenzhen. They haven't cooperated with each other as I know. However, you can use your yahoo! mail account on msn as long as it has been verified by MSN. For me, I has been using my yahoo! mail account on msn for a while.

Using both MSN and QQ, though in China MSN is popularised a bit later compared to QQ.
Problem is QQ tends to have a lot of subsidiary programmes loaded in the background and will either slow the pc or create loopholes for hackers to control your pc. Skype is great for voice quality and lag-less conversation, in that aspect, MSN is quite poor for voice communication across borders.

Agree! If you access to the internet in the net bar, you will find there are many viruses that attack your QQ to gain your password. For me, I have lost my password several times. Luckily, QQ has offered a service for its users to get back their passwords. Through this service, I got back my password.

Msn to business and to chat with my wife. I use Skype to business too, but it is not very widely used here. Using sound and especially picture is quite impossible between my wife and me, because her internet connection is quite slow.
