Guilin to Guiyang route?

Hi there,

I'm planning to travel from Guilin to Guiyang in the last week of August. I'd like some suggestions in planning my route. Guilin will just be a starting point - I've been there and the surrounding areas before so no need to spend any extra time here.

I'll have about 8 days in all.

How to plan my time so I see the best of the region?

Any help most appreciated!

Can I suggest you read the travel reviews on Guizhou. I travelled from Guiyang to Guilin a few years back and have also been back to Kali area since. There is a load of information up there but it depends on what you really want to see.
