| Zhouzhuang isn't a city either. That aside, it's now really too crowded and touristy. Lijiang's old town area is fine though also crowded and touristy, but no love for the new city. I definitely don't agree with the recommendation of Chongqing, especially when you consider the colour of the rivers around it! |

If this is your first trip in China,convinece should be the priority. | I agree with the up stair. The small city Lijiang,located northwest of Yunnan province,bordering to Tibet is the most beautiful city for me, All year around with nice temperature(10degree to 25degree), surounded by big snow mountain and by the Yangtze River,UNESCO world culture heritege old town,and many many different Mountain tribes there.  |

| The most beautiful city is Xiamen, This is an Island city & also green city. They People are very good. Only the problem is language. |
