I'm an expat looking for someone to teach me Chinese. With a strong focus on learning to read.

I need someone with experience and references that I can check. Additionally I would like to have someone that can teach me basic 上海话.

I've been learning Chinese for nearly two years and I'm not looking for beginner instruction so it's essential that you have experience teaching Chinese from lower intermediate up to advanced. If you have previously worked at a Chinese language school that would be great.

My current level is somewhere between beginner and intermediate. Daily conversations are not generally an issue but more complex topics are often still a challenge. My reading level is at the 300-400 character level.

I work in an IT company and if you can help me to learn professional Chinese in this area that would be a great help.

Please note that this is a private tutor position and I'm NOT interested in engaging with a language school at all. NO exceptions. There is also the possibility of one or two other students who are also interested.

There will be an interview process with a very experienced Chinese teacher as well as with an English speaking person.
