GUESTGUESTYG... After reading every single post in this topic, I have decided against marrying or dating any Chinese woman. It seems like a majority of the experiences here are exceedingly negative.

I was considering maybe dating this girl who is traveling to my city in the USA to stay with my neighbors. They met this girl in China when they visited there, and became friends. From what I know of her, she's single, never has been married, and she has no children and is nearly 30 years old. I am 32 years old. I was entertaining the thought of maybe dating her as I'm single and unmarried. But now after receiving much insight from everyone who has posted here... I will keep things only as friends the entire time she is around.

GUEST73171 I would NOT rely on this blog for anything. Women are difficult the world over. All said here could pertain to an American woman just as well. Judge the person as an individual first. The cultural part is minor in comparison. I have met many nice woman from China (I am American). In all but one, it was just texting. I finally met one I really liked and we are close to marriage. Before you reject her look at how American women are. They are nothing to write home about.

GUEST66157 my friend, they are all this way in China and when u get them out of their controlled environment you will find yourself in hell on earth.
They are the cream of selfishness and don't consider feelings of others. AS a husband u are supposed to provide huge amounts of money and every cent that you earn has to go to them. If you add a little language barrier into that mix and a little culture shock you will just have invited evil in your life. You can tie a baby into the relation and u will so so go under. I played that game twice and was twice cheated by believing that they impossibly cant have all the same traits. They have and there is no use trying to explain them anything, it will just result in an outburst of hate towards you. They are all brainwashed from earliest childhood.

GUESTSCOTT i cant find a woman here in kentucky that i want to call my wife or girlfriend they all are so snobby and i hate that i am now 49 and i want to put some roots down somewhere so i can be stable i am divorced with 2 grown kids i have looked at most of them it is a shame if i could find a girlfriend or even a wife i would be so good to her that she would think she is a queen some where i have much respect for all asian people because i think that they got a raw deal of human rights denied to them by many countrys and so that is one reason i would like to try and get me a chinese wife or girlfriend some one that i can love hole hardaly someone who needs love and care i have seen many chinese women that absolutely love there husband and do so right to the end thats what i want for the both of us i love her she loves me we will do everything together until that last day

GUEST49764 I have read every single post I'm from the U.S. 20 years old going on 21 it seem to me a lot of people on here say that Chinese woman are not good wives and are very controlling. Some say they are very good loving wives.But I also notice that guys tend to rush in some of these relationships very quickly it seems better to just get down to earth with that person and ask all these questions beforehand and get to know there personality and know them as a person before considering marriage and actually learn mandarin which would help a lot with the so called language/communication barrier I myself have never been in a relationship besides been out with a few girls on dates but never really connected with them. (GUEST82213) would it be possible if you could pm me I would really like to ask you questions about things to expect and differences mostly between our cultures and advice on how to understand Chinese woman and things to prepare for. I'd like to belive Chinese woman are not as bad as everyone on here says and like in every country will find a lot of woman that are mean and rotten individuals and also a lot of good people
