Can't find my package on EMS

I tried looking it up on their track and trace service but nothing comes up only "No tracking information for the shipment, or overdue tracking." comes on....I'm really surprised at the lack of any real time updates unlike other couriers like FedEx, DHL and others that give real time updates. my tracking number is: EE517796600CN seller said he sent it on Feb 20th is this normal for EMS? to not be able to track your package days after it was sent out? please help me I'd really appreciate it! :)
