Credit card is handy and changing currency was very convenient at the hotel reception in Peking in February. So we did not bother to exchange currency when leaving for China this time. Had checked that the Independence day falls in October, but that it is celebrated almost a week! So the banks were not open to give daily exchange rate and you could change only 100 USD/EUR per day! You need a copy of your visa and passport and have to queue in a bank every morning. So take enough of copies with you.- Travel Journals by TUKU (0)
